The Trade Fairs and Congress Centre of Malaga (Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga, FYCMA) has hosted the first edition of S-Moving, a Forum for Smart, Autonomous and Unmanned Vehicles, on 17 and 18 October. This international event aimed at professionals is multisectoral in nature, and over the course of two days will bring together more than 300 companies, professionals and experts in technology applied to smart, autonomous, connected and unmanned mobility.

AERTEC Solutions, an international engineering and consultancy firm specialising in airports, the aeronautic industry and defence, participated in this forum, which arises as a result of the boom in innovation and the application of new technologies to connected and autonomous systems. Within this framework, AERTEC Solutions will present its portfolio of observation and surveillance solutions in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles, including the two versions of TARSIS, its fixed-wing aerial platform. These high-performance RPAS are designed with AERTEC’s own technology, and allow for different configurations and missions. AERTEC’s unmanned aerial platforms are available in two versions depending on the maximum take-off weight: TARSIS 75 and TARSIS 25. There will be a prototype of the latter at the AERTEC stand, where demonstrations will also be held with its RPAS simulator.

One of the latest milestones achieved by the RPAS TARSIS family was the completion of a complete and automatic operation on beach sand. Both the take-off and the execution of the flight and landing were carried out without human intervention. This new development of high technological complexity will allow the expansion of the range of observation and surveillance operations taking place on the coast.

TARSIS represents one of the company’s greatest examples of the development of dual-use technologies, and it could therefore not miss out on this international event, where the protagonists will be autonomous and connected ground, sea and aerospace vehicles, along with related infrastructure.

All technology related to robotics, self-learning, artificial intelligence, 3D printing, IoT, LIDAR, etc. will play a prominent role at S-Moving. The forum will include the presentation and exhibition of current technology and the recent research findings of various groups and teams, an extensive debate on current trends and a practical area where there will be a test area for connected vehicles.
